Snowboarding ROCKS!!!
I managed to break my collarbone while on a dry slope in Bracknell. I had surgery to put the two ends of the bone back together again with a titanium plate to hold them in place. Unfortunately, four weeks later, another X-ray showed that I have bent the plate. So I now have one collar bone that looks a bit like a boomarang! Ill put up the latest X-ray when I get time..
Went to Les Arcs in France in 1998 for two glorious weeks.
We stayed at Arc 2000 which is the highest of the three Les Arcs resorts and while the mountain and snow was very cool the nightlife sucked! Most of the night action happens at 1800.
Didn't get any fresh powder while we were there which a bit of a bummer but we had a laugh. Spent one day in La Plagne which had some cool red runs near the resort which were a bit like turbogan runs, high sides you could go flying up.
Since then, I've been to Whistler in '99, Lake Tahoe in 2000, Jackson Hole and Chamonix in 2001, and did the full 2001/2 season in Chamonix!
